New Leadership Appointed at TL-ABC Annual General Meeting

The Timor-Leste Australia Business Council (TL-ABC) is pleased to announce the appointment of new leadership following its Annual General Meeting held on 27 March 2025.

The Council welcomed five board members to serve in the coming term: Brett Reedy (Inovar4), Troy Huckstepp (Orijem Timor), Andy Jacob (Caltech Group), Erik Stokes (RMS Construction & Engineering), and Jose Teixeira (Da Silva Teixeira & Associates).

Following the Board appointments, Andy Jacob was nominated and confirmed as Chairperson, with Troy Huckstepp appointed Vice-Chairperson. Both appointments were endorsed unanimously.

The founding Chair, Sakib Awan of East Timor Trading, and outgoing acting Chair, Kaushal Rohilla of ANL Shipping were acknowledged for the critical role they played in establishing the Council in 2024.

The recently appointed TL-ABC leadership affirmed their commitment to advancing the mission of the Council: to drive business growth and shared prosperity by fostering trusted partnerships, advocating for meaningful reform, sharing actionable insights, and championing initiatives that strengthen the trade and investment landscape within and between Timor-Leste and Australia.

The leadership team brings a diverse range of experience and international networks that will be valuable in advancing the Council’s mission, and expanding the membership base.
